Method for Baking Potatoes
The first and foremost step is to choose the even sized potatoes before baking them. You can scrub them well and remove any eyes. Then decide how you’ll cook the potatoes. Potatoes can be baked with a little cooking fat directly on the oven rack or can be placed inside a baking dish. Another way to bake them is wrapping them in a foil paper. Before wrapping them, prick the potato randomly with a fork
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit/ 200 degree Celsius
Arrange the potatoes direct on the baking rack in the oven. Or, place in a baking dish with a dollop of butter or oil and place in the oven.
Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes or 45 minutes depending on the size of the potato. Only remove when it is soft to prick.
